By Bree R., Carver, MA

   A cold breeze reminds me

An echo of the past calls

An old familiar voice calls

The songs all bring me back

Time rewinds into eternity

Smiles I no longer see

Watch lovingly from afar

Oceans of memories re-form

Strings are tied and released

Tears have all dried up

Leaves float on the wind

Like angels ascending to heaven

Days pass on and on

Memories start to fade

And summer is forgotten
