   She defies all laws her heart is carved of ice,

Seducing eyes blue as sapphire stone,

The pale beauty of her skin doth me entice,

The empty soul in which love is not known.

I share in her eternal company;

Anticipate her visits once a turn.

She comes, her movement pure poetry,

Her stay is brief but for this I do yearn.

She has arrived, a presence bewitching,

A deceiving mien she has, do not go near

Her sweet embrace causes much suffering;

But from one-sided love one cannot fear.

To live this crazy love with her is Hell,

Alas this is the nature of Winter's spell.
