By Rachael B.,

The world took a breath the other day,
and I sat back and enjoyed it.
The moon laughed at me but I was too
happy to notice.
The old lady down the street winked
at me as she walked by.
I knew she too had enjoyed the breath.
The moon shall grow dim,
but I and the old lady shall shine
forever.
