Shadows
The lights of Hollywood
set the sky a-glow;
where the stars are many
and everything's a show.
Dueling heroes
take charge of city streets;
all are leaping for chances
or trying for good seats.
None however notices
the ghosts of all of these
which emerge way after lights out
when no one ever sees.
She is Hollywood's sister
the darker side of her
where actors have no stages
and props become a blur.
These are her memories
that wander late at night
The old forgotten greats
often hidden by Hollywood's light
