My Choice
I had no gift, I had no life, I was completely lost,
And though I had no gift to give, you gave me what you had:
Your life, your love, my choice to make,
And I made it with my voice.
You gave me life; I give it back.
I bow before your name.
For now I have no choice to make.
It’s all in your hands.
I made my choice; I hear your voice,
I live and love for you.
And though I may now have naught—
I’ve thrown it all to you—I know that I can keep on hoping,
For you—you keep your word.
So now as I leave tonight,
Let me say this truth:
You are my Lord, you are my King,
And now your will is mine.
