Half A World Away MAG

By Unknown, Unknown, Unknown

a porch that faces the setting sun

where the flowers release their perfume souls and the rain saturates the thirsty ground

holding hands with the wind kissing her cooling wrists

there must've been a thousand birds and choruses

watched the watercolor of this descending spectacle

squeezed out tears and made me think of passion

a porch that faces the setting sun

somewhere far away somewheresomewhere

a porch that faces the rising run

where the flowers reflect the light with tiny mirrors of dew and the quiet is touchable

laughing with the light caressing her orange lashes

there could've been a million thoughts and phrases

watched the watercolor of this ascending miracle

squeezed out tears and made him think of passion

a porch that faces the rising sun

somewhere far away somewhere you're there

caressing the same words

kneading the same space

I'm here on my porch facing the descending orange

somewhere on your porch you face ascending yellow

there is always a tomorrow

somewhere

WOW!!!!! This is an incredible poem!!!! I love the repeating lines of somewhere, somewhere, and the little bits of personification really set the whole thing off beautifully- this is truly a spectacular poem. keep up the good work and congratulations on getting published!!!
