A Glance Inside This Heart MAG

By Anonymous

   I stand on the edge of this cliff,

Wonder when the

Never-ending night will

Cease to be

A part of this existence

I took up at the esoteric moon

Bask in its sallow gold light

Hold onto those who are within reach

Weep profoundly for

Those who are not

I stare down at the innocuous crystal waters;

Stretch an arm to its warmth

Begin to fall into its vast obscurity

Notice the last glimpse of this world and

Say goodbye without fear

I begin to smile

I'm so glad that you included more challenging words you just helped expand my vocabulary and open my mind to the poem :)
