   She sits in the back of the room.

Quiet and unheard.

She hears them all,

but doesn't want to listen.

Their words, just mumbles.



A cloud swirls over her head.

Fog settles at her feet.

As thoughts race through her mind.



"Can you answer the question?"

he asks,

Waking her from her thoughtful trance.

"No, I cannot," she wistfully answers.

Crossing her arms,

she nestles back into her warm flannel,

her hair hiding her tear-ridden eyes.

She lets her mind return to its

Faithful Unconsciousness.
