Hope.
A very strong word
Said less than expected
and surely rarely heard.

Filled with flowers and love
The whole earth is hard to see.
Look around you,
What do you see?
I may see you and you may see me,
But that doesn't mean we're the only ones here.

There's so much more out there.
Much more things to fear
Rather than just fate.
We may have it easy,
But someone else is asking for our help.
Our help, our love, and our hope.

There's so much more out there,
Things we may want to see,
Things we may not.
Other less fortunate call our names
But what do we hear?
Nothing.

We can't wait to be called
And we can't wait to be heard.
But that doesn't mean we shouldn't help.
Someone else is asking for our help.
Our help, our love, and our hope.
