The inevitable beginning of school once again looms ahead
School sales, notebooks, paper and every other school supply is on sale seems only to reinforce the beginning of school that once seemed so far away but now is so near
May brings excitement for school is at its end
June brings cold ice cream, hot days, scorching pool decks and no school worries
July brings parades, summer camp, family vacations, and swimming parties
But when July turns to August, the summer bliss wears off and the start of school hangs over your head like a dark cloud on day that used to be beautiful, sunny, and free of worries
August 18th is the day where you hear people calling to each other in their excitement of seeing their friends again
Summer has gone, school has come
One hundred and eighty days until the summer bliss returns again
One hundred eighty days of studying, worrying if you studied enough for a test or if you did you did all of your homework
One hundred and eighty days till the summer bliss returns
One hundred and eighty days and counting
