My only friends
Here I sit with my only friends
The one’s who helped me through
The things that keep me going
That got me over you
I take a dose everyday
To cover up my pain
They keep me company by the bed
Keep me from going insane
They take me to my own world
Where I can run and escape
While the others left me here
By my side they’ve always stayed
I count on them to survive
They are the life inside of me
Without the doctor’s prescription
I would lose the will to breathe
My bottle keeps me from suffering
From ever hurting again
Now all I have to depend on
Are my one and only friends
