Mud is brown,
When you play in it you never frown.
It is fun to play in,
Up to your shin.

It makes your tires spin,
Then sucks you down in.
Never doubt,
You might not get out.

I think that the ideas in this poem are great, but I think you would be freer to speak what's on your mind with a different rhyme scheme, maybe. Also, you could replace the "you"s with "I"s, but with a little work this will be excellent!
