My Love

The future may seem to be so distant,
But I promise you it’s not,
My love,
For the future is surely nonexistent

So sleep my love,
Sleep the present day away,
For my love will always be with you,
Like the ever lasting present day

Id rather spend my days with you,
Than anything in the world,
I want to share with you,
My love,
These wide empty skies so blue

Dance with me when the night nears,
Under the broad bright moon,
My love,
I’ll take away you’re fears

Lets run and jump and twirl through fields of tall green grass and wild flowers,
My love,
And when we tire along with the sun,
Open your arms and fall back,
The earth and my heart will catch you gently,
And there we will lie,
Just you and I,
Enjoying the present day
