the days pass by like murder
I chase the seconds, looking to breathe
only to waste it on misunderstood rage
still, I'll take what I can for now
and leave the rest to wonder
it never matters much though
because you are only a reflection
and there is no future for images
so tell me what to think about it
since you've got what it takes to break me
be sure to make it clear
because what you usually mean to say
is not often what I hear
