Clouds are floating across the sky
As you lie in pain and I cry
I still just can't figure out why,
Medicine won't help the doctor said
But I finally understand as I sit by your bed,
There's really nothing I can do
To help the sickness escape from you,
So I ask that you will be dressed in a pure white gown
The prettiest angel who will never again frown,
Someday we will together soar and fly
As clouds float across the sky.

Hi. This piece was written a few years ago, and I was just looking through my notebook, when I stumbled across some poetry I'd written. Enjoy
