A love lost at sea
The soft whisper of salted air dances upon her skin
The waves crash down
With every passing moment her heart beats sorrow within
In the pain she begins to drown
The promise he made she can not forget
Those three words, the last he said
For the love they shared she will not regret
Despite the dangerous life he lead
The ocean swirled black and the waves violently thrashed
The storm would claim his soul
She cried out from the shore as the wind lashed
All sounds masked by the thunder roll
Her love so swiftly swept away
She could not go on with her heart so broken and shoddy
Without him her whole life began to decay
She leapt into the ocean to drown with his body.
