Looking out my prison cell,
Staring at the sun,
Wishing somebody would free me,
Somewhere anyone,
Shaking my chains so furiously,
Gazing at the bars,
Longing for freedom,
Holding onto hope,
Crying for my home that's far,
I'm trapped with my emotions,
My thoughts,
My despair,
Can't anybody hear me,
Someone anywhere,
So don't just sit there staring,
I'm still here in my cell,
Getting tired of waiting,
I'm growing old cant you tell.
I was once young,
But you stole that,
On my lost youth I dwell,
Won't you come and free me,
Open up my cage,
And also put out that fire,
The fire of anger and rage,
Anytime soon will you be coming,
Please don't forget me.
Because im still here waiting,
Staring at the sun,
Wishing somebody would free me,
Somewhere anyone,
Shaking my chains so furiously,
Gazing at the bars,
Longing for freedom,
Holding onto hope,
Crying for my home that's far,
I'm trapped with my emotions,
My thoughts,
My despair,
Can't anybody hear me,
Someone anywhere,
So don't just sit there staring,
I'm still here in my cell,
Getting tired of waiting,
I'm growing old cant you tell.
I was once young,
But you stole that,
On my lost youth I dwell,
Won't you come and free me,
Open up my cage,
And also put out that fire,
The fire of anger and rage,
Anytime soon will you be coming,
Please don't forget me.
Because im still here waiting,
