Scrooges and Serfdom
Wow,
We sip on our lattes
And lie on comfy beds,
When people just like us
Are catching diseases
With no money for meds.
They rejoice at a penny on the ground,
While we swim in our wealth when no ones around.
Their stomachs are never full,
And our wallets never satisfied,
We spend and we spend,
As they pray and pray
That they might have a home someday,
It leaves me with one thing to say,
Wow.
