Where’s my motivation
And all my inspiration
There’s no notion to captivate me in rhyme
Or to spare me the moment, or capture my time

Where’s the feel of dancing in the rain
The adventure to climb hills and explore rough terrain
To break away from my troubles and all of these distractions
The need to keep these promises and avoid the attractions

Where’s the carefree spirit I knew I once had
These thoughts won’t go away and are driving me mad
I wish for the sky to be bluer than before
That way I know if I should stop asking for more

Where are the dreams I need to achieve
And the courage to back down and stop being naïve
To necessitate someone who will never retreat
He who will never let you give in to defeat

Where’s the conception of all things depraved
The emotion of lightheartedness that used to be engraved
Otherwise the sensation and passion that used to be
The commencement of new epochs to the most tolerable degree

Where’s the affection I need to acquaint
In a world where those three words are used without restraint
The last of my vigor will be used in this quest
Failure will not catch up to me, and to this I shall attest
