Back Home
Where the hills did rise
where woods are everywhere
where sun did shine

Back Home
On a rainy day
a girl and boy did play
the wanted to go on a adventure

Back Home
With a splishy splash
Up the muddy hill
and down again

Back Home
Threw the oak filled woods
Drip, Drip, Drip
The twigs did say

Back Home
near the road
where you herd a
WOOSH! SPLASH!!

Back Home
Down a paivment hill
And all pot holes
filled with water

Back Home
where cold hands tured red
where wet cloths needed to dry
where noses ran with snot

Back Home
there you see a puddle
So full of water
A lake it could have been

Back Home
In the warm house
Dry warm cloths
Nice warm bed

Back Home
On a rainy night
A boy and girl
Became close that night

The author's comments:
In this poem i wrote about my best friend in the whole world John. Him and I apsolutly love the rain...so we went into my back yard
and walked around all over (I had a huge big back yard) and it was practically the woods. We tried going up this really steep hill and keep on falling back down. we got so dirty. But John and I got really close to eachother and told eachother ower deepest secrets. I miss that night...
