Washington DC Trip

A bright light and a boom
I jump up wide awake
Darkness still fills my room
The storm outside gives the world quite a quake

Air and space museum we went
And it was there that we saw
The flying contraptions that man could invent
Some that really filled us with awe

While eating at Union station
We saw something that filled us with elation
Shutter shades we all just had to buy
Ones that only halfway hide our eye

Botanical Gardens was one place that we could not stand to miss
So many different plants and flowers that it consists
From beautifully elegant flowers
To plants with extremely funny names
The Botanical garden took many of our hours
