A page.

Filled with memories.

Turn to another
And another

And another.

Pictures staring up at me,

Smiling faces
Like beautiful sunsets.

Rays of joy wash over me.

Ageless memories,

They dash through my mind.
Over

And

Over.
Flash
Happiness

Flash
Anger

Flash

Sorrow

A smile

A laugh

A hug
Its warmth still lingers.

Prickling my skin,

So I may never forget

Days and nights together

Heat forming in my eyes
Skin raw and red

White piles in the waste

Empty rooms

Echoes filtering from one to another
Shadows hiding what I once had

Ghosts tracing their fingertips up and down my spine

Leaving an empty void

That was once filled
Emptiness

Pain

Apathy

Reminding me of you

Every laugh
Every smile

Memories of you
Another page

Then another

Reminding me of you
