I once was told true love is hard to find,
Throughout my life i found this to be true.
The thought of you kept running through my mind,
Wishing the rest of my life spent with you.
I believe that true loe will never die,
The split between us was impossible.
Until the day you left me for her i,
Felt so incomplete and vulnerable.
You hurt the one you love by letting go,
Missing mem'ries of what we could have been.
You always told me how you loved me so,
Now there will never be an "us" again.
So i gave my all beyond and above,
Just to find out what we had was False Love.

The author's comments:
This is one of my favorite poems, that i have ever written. I hope that the people who read it will take this and keep in mind that sometimes everything can be going right, and all of a sudden you expect the unexpected. But we just always have to have our guards up, and take anything that comes. Thank you.
