smoke
The smell fills the room
It’s the smell of life and death
So thick you can see it
It’s a warning of the power coming from the fire
It yells at you to get away
Not to mess with it
Not to touch it or it will snap
So much aggression behind a small heat source
And yet we welcome the smell
We are happy to have the smell in our homes.
