Watching
This is how it will be
Living in my society.
You're standing on the sidewalk
and you can't afford to talk.
Soon as you open your mouth
Someone'll be there to shout
"how dare you walk out
while being so loud?"
And they're watching each of us-
we can't even ride the bus.
If you look up at the sky
You'll see the morning sun rise
But once you look up
And see the cage covering us
Something will erupt
Because that's what they can do
To someone as small as you.
They will be watching.
Watching everything.
And if they find you running
You can't avoid their cunning.
You won't live past next spring.
This is how it will be
Living in my society.
