Every star
Shines on its own
But helps to light up the
Midnight sky.
As I lay under the tree
That holds all our secrets
I remember you
The millions of diamonds
Splattered onto the black canvas
Make the lake glitter
And I see your eyes.
Your amazing gorgeous blue eyes
They were the reason I fell in love with you.
And the sky seems a bit brighter,
With brilliance, that wasn’t there last night
Because you are up there now,
Dancing with Haley’s comet,
I see a star that has a blue glow,
And I know that is you.
