there should be one hundred people who give

hope
just as the people who need something
the most give it. hope
can be shattered. lost. hard to keep.
it will leave you. abandon.
it can leave you so sneakily that it strikes-
soon everything is still.
a ray in which even the heavens above
are uplifted. saved. it can also hurt.
constantly, it breaks, often, then, it is useless-
and each ray of hope is different and you know

no two
are the same, so never fear, hopeful people,

hope comes around.

The author's comments:
I did a pastiche of the poem "Love" by Gwylyn Cano and i very much enjoyed doing it. This poem explains that hope is good at some points in your life but it can easily turn on you if you don't have any hope or sombody doesn't believe in you or give you enough hope. The poem "Love" is inspiring to me and I hope my poem "Hope" is inspiring to you as well.
