A Summer Night's Daydream

A flat rock sits parallel to the ground
Surrounded by ocean
And on the bulky landmass sits a bird, a white bird
Bound to be washed away by the
Mighty waves that bring upon the
Periodical onslaught of water
But as the mound of ocean inches closer
The white bird takes off in full flight
Into the dark, colossal night.
