Tears Of The rain people

In my head....
I see pirogues
Crossing skinny rivers with crocs
And black kids as thin as pins
Rattle christmass hymns like empty tins
While old man with cotton beards
Cry to God with tears in cropless fields
....But its only in my head
In my head.....
I see villagers
Chase after cats for food not sport
And when its dark the shadow of death
Creep up on suspecting prey
.....But its only in my head
