In the end

We sleep to dream and wake for lust,
We laugh to smile and scream to forget,
We sing and dance to fight the horror we face,
We watch the night fall slowly to watch the sun rise early,
We hate because we can’t do much else,
We breathe to live the life we lead,
We walk to find the places and things we once lost,
We speak to not be forgotten,
We hold on to things we value to keep them forever,
In a world of disbelief,
A world of selfish and selfless,
A world of crime and bravery,
A world of pain and a world of satisfaction,
As a whole we are people of Earth,
Who dream and become frightened,
Who cry and laugh,
Who all as a whole are no different then each other,
In a way because we all feel,
We all love and hate,
We all break down,
Some different then others but we still do,
In the beginning,
We all live,
And in the end,
We all die…

I wrote this thinking about my cousin Josh, Whom killed himself June 30th 2008. To show that life is fragile and anything can happen. but we have to find ways to get through it, though we all die in the end, no matter how hard we try.
