Love Sonnet
A journey; a beginning, middle, end
True love beings with a spark; flourishes
Head may deny love, the heart never will
Break through our skin, personality, and our hearts
Love can become intertwined in the soul
Love spies sorrow, seeks it out, dominates
Love cures the head, heart, and soul of sickness
Washing over the cracked and broken; heals
Never discriminating, colorblind
Making its way to people who deserve
Reserved for those who wait; a precious gift
To be protected and distributed
Love’s never-ending power will spread peace
A universal term, sign, feeling
