I’m not one for politics and I sure as hell wont ever be
Because I refuse to lie and abuse my powers you see
Corruption leaks through their slicked back hair
They may have their way with words but I do not care
I hope that you can all see the bigger picture in this place
It’s the warmth in your heart not the scars on your face
You don’t have to follow the same values that are dear to me
But resist the competitive capitalist dogma and you’ll remain free
Remain Free
Turn on the television machine and tell me what do you see
Only actors and promotions advertising corporate feeds
We must escape this parasite sucking out all of our intellect
Causing all of our insecure phobias to become erect
Is it too late to save an entire generation from hypnotic participation
In a mass media coverage causing complete alliteration
You don’t have to follow the same values that are dear to me
But resist the competitive capitalist dogma and you’ll remain free
Remain Free
Now I hope that you have learned a couple of things or two
From the words I seriously speak from me all the way to you
For those who still think that I am crazy you are all surely doomed
Because you are already sucked into the corporate room
Fair well for now I must make make a trip to portland
I will see you again in a hot box or perhaps the ocean
You don’t have to follow the same values that are dear to me
But resist the competitive capitalist dogma and you’ll remain free
Remain Free
