we have what we want
but never what we need
stop pressing rewind
don't waste this time
how could you lie to the world,
screaming no regrets at best
waiting for that imaginary drain
we're stuck in this capsle
reality has begun to sink in
there's never a secret place
when we run we quickly loose
and just when you thought you could escape
you burned your life away
dreaming of a better day
you stood still eyes glazed
never enough time to pick up your mess
because this world never stopped where you left
