Could there have possibly been a greater mistake
Than to sit on the chair by your pool and let him tell you
Just standing by, not willing to risk anything
And now I am so confused- frustrated with myself
Wishing I could’ve been the one to tell you how I felt
How when I see you, it makes my heart melt
But even though we’re just friends,
I would never want to ruin that, for it to end
