I have to pray, just to see the day.
Look to Him for guidance, help me light the way.
I've got too many problems to handle on my own.
I can rest assured that I never have to be alone.
Some days its so hard to open my eyes,
But it's the drive in me that’s got me reaching for skies.
I let the music flow through me like a stream.
Like Dr. Martin Luther, the king, I have a dream.
Keep your eyes on the prize, stay alive.
Don't listen to the haters, they just telling you lies.
They'll say anything to keep you from greatness.
But have patience, the best things in life come with lateness.
Sometimes though it may appear to be,
The world's got you knocked to your knees.
But, for the time being, we all need to cope.
Hold our heads up, and keep hearts full of hope.


Sometimes, I know, there will be pouring rain.
Tears will flow harder, cause you wore your pain,
But if you're going through hell, you best keep going.
Stay strong, show some pride, keep growing never slowing.
Things will get better soon; I need you to believe,
Sometimes grieve, sometime receive, but always achieve.
When it seems like your life is crushed,
Don't show weakness, always keep your shoulders brushed.
Take things slowly, don't ever rush.
Enjoy the small things in life, make them lush.
When push comes to shove always look above,
God will reveal to you the true meaning in love.
Days in the future will become much brighter.
The wrongs in your life will soon be much righter.
But, for the time being, we all need to cope.
