I thought that I could trust you
But now that is over.
I came to you with open arms,
Hoping that you were going to be the one;
That special person who was going to heal my everlasting pain.
I let you into my life
Thinking that I wouldn’t be hurt by your love
And your protection,
But you refused to open your arms
And love me back,
The way that I loved you.
I wanted you to be the one
The one that was going to be by my side,
To make sure that I wasn’t going to rely on
The razor to love me the way I thought no one else should.
But now my thoughts have changed,
And my life has changed again.
I am back to my old ways
And my old habits;
Relying on that razor to be the only love I will receive.
I thought that I could trust you
But all you did was bring my life back down.
So now I’m letting you go
And I’m saying my last goodbye
Don’t say I love you
And don’t say you wont live without me
Because those days have gone
And I have already moved on.
