I can’t describe the feeling
The way it makes you skin tingle
Like spiders crawling up your spine
The warmth on your face
The way the waves of water sound
Splash splash splash
Sleeping in ‘til noon almost everyday
Not giving a care that you lost half the day
Knowing that you have the night to look forward to
Riding with your top down
Hair blowing into tangles
Turn the music up louder louder
Tan lines, late night swims, and long road trips
It doesn’t last forever
But while it does
You take it all in
Wherever you are
Whoever you are with
Who cares, its summer.
