The heat from the sun is warm upon my face
and I feel as though I may soon combust.
It is uncomfortably delightful and I must
continue, to take advantage of the slightest trace
of summer weather before it is chased
back into hiding. How we lust
for some control over it, so that we may just
remain in the comfort of these pleasant days.

Overthrow the air conditioning company
and find tranquility in the pressing sun.
For we must make the best use of any
unseasonably warm weather before it is gone.
And be able to appreciate some of the many
wonders that we experience from our lawns.
