The course was set, from England with love
Against all other ships, she stood above

The passengers were proud, no fear they had
For how could a ship sink that was iron clad

Little ones were tucked in bed
“I’ll see you in the morning,” their mothers had said

As the bell tolled twelve she struck
Only hours passed before she sunk

Now she lay in the northern Atlantic
O how frantic
