A Dream I Wish to Behold

After school is done
And the days are long,
There is one thing I think of;
And that is summer.
Sun in my face,
Sweat in my hands,
This is how I imagined
My summer days.
With months before school
And nothing but time,
A midsummer's dream
I wish to behold.
There are the days
I love the most.
The days where summer overcomes all
And welcomes my days.
