Waiting for Something
It’s been too long and I’m ill.
I lay in bed with a dinner
made by my wonderful son.
A curious boy who’s deep in thought.
Once said by my grandmother,
“Your boy will be a deep in thought person.
People try to escape but it’s a resourceful gift.
It helps anybody get through something.”
I don’t think he is going through something,
but many think he is. How is he?
So I just wait and lay deep in thought.
Trying to get through what he’s going through.
This is the story of waiting for something,
that comes later in life at sometime.
So I wait.
