The Big USS Ship

The ship was grey
The battle marks were black
The planes were shiny as can be
I didn’t understand that this big machine was in life changing wars
I can not remember because of how young I was
I saw the shiny planes hoping to touch them
I heard a mans deep voice in the background saying
“Go ahead and touch its not going to bite!”
So I did and I fell in love with a plane, well not literally
That’s why I want to grow up flying planes off this kind of a ship
