Mid-day sun,
Shining in the sky,
It’s been up all day,
It starts to fade away.

Clouds float in like balloons,
They billow and blow ferociously,
Thunder sounding around,
The storm is coming now.

Lightning strikes,
A war between the ground and skies,
Furious winds rip through the air,
The storm is upon us.

The sun splits the clouds,
The clouds retract to a distant land,
The strong wind is now a warm breeze,
The terrible storm has subsided.
