Faces
The night is seeping away
as I rush through the day,
catching all the faces in a glimpse.
As each face flips,
I try to find out why,
but the answer just slips by,
and I will never know
whether it's a frown to see
or a smile to go with the flow.
As the looks tend to flee
Their simple hello can go a mile,
but their face, no one knows
all the faces are in their own race
a race that blows,
orbiting the answer
that I don't know.
