Katie
I reflect on heroes.
Superman,
Spiderman,
Batman.
All fictional characters young kids look to for strength.
Do i have a hero?
Perhaps an
Actress,
Musician?
No.
It makes no sense.
But i dug deeper inside myself and found you.
Your the one who stayed up with me,
when he broke my heart.
And reminded me of better priorities when you told me it was late and i had school tomorrow.
You were the one i called 'bestfriend'
The one who took me to my first concert.
The one who helped mold me into the girl i am today.
I reflect upon the moments i made you cry,
yell.
The times i said you werte nothing,
spoiled,
selfish.
My mind wonders back to reality,
i've lost you for now,
because of the words i never meant...
But still i can honestly say;
My hero is you.
