Eyes made of fresh rainstorm mud
Lips dark and parted broadly to reveal
Ivory teeth and throat
Opened wide
Nourished with deep
Rolling laughter
Reverberating throughout his
Entire person
From head thrown back
To feet rocking back and forth
Words always aphorisms
Emanating thought
An infectious desire to hear more
No greater joy than to see
The happiness of others
Hands large
Ready
Willing
To extend a helping hand
Beautiful black man
Not so merely for the color of his skin
But for the color of his soul.
