Run
I love to run feeling the ground under my feet
The dirt and grass between my toes
I have loved to run since I was a child
I just love the feeling of my legs moving swiftly
I like how it makes me energetic
And how it moves me fast across the earth
When I run I feel the morning breeze
I feel the grass lashing at my legs
I feel my bare feet hitting twigs and leaves
Though it doesn’t hurt
It just feels good to run.
