life and death

life and death
twas the middle of night,
when peril tookits flight,
wieghing the measures of life and death,
for the reaper may steal your last breath,
or he may choose to let you live,
and either way it is his greatest gift to give,
but the one you hope that he doesnt choose,
is the one that garuntees you will lose,
but tonight you live and life is yours to keep,
so cherish it when you go to sleep,
for the reaper may come at any time,
then my warning will be nothing but a simple ryme.

Wonderful, full of truth and feeling. A message in a bottle, a warning. Amazing and powerful. Wow.
