Soft Snow
Snow, snow, snow,
Falling swiftly and gently onto the ground,
Never disturbing the midnight stillness.
The world is hushed and sleeping peacefully,
But you fall so gently as the newborn baby’s soft skin.
You fall all night, you fall all day,
And you never disturb the stillness.
However spring is in the air,
Now your gentleness fades softly away,
But I will see you next frozen season,
As you softly land onto the frozen autumnal ground.
