White snow lay across the land
hidding everything below,
nothing could live without a helping hand
all had grown so weak and low.

Screams of helplessness fell upon ears of stone,
Pain only expressed though a single moan.

Ghosts of white roamed both night and day
searching for something they could hold,
looking for the words they longed to say,
trying so hard not to fall into the common mold.

Shouts of aggression battled the silence of oppression.

Laying in white had left nothing for them to try for,
all had given up and gone away,
they all decided nothing was to die for
allowing themselves to drown in each others dismay.

With nothing there to fight
nothing could remember what was right.
